CRM2011, IE8 and CRMAF filter

I have a report that runs flawlessly using IE10 with a SSRS report that uses the CRMAF filter.  When the CRM (2011) is launched via IE8 the report will run but the CRMAF filter is ignored.  Any ideas?  Thanks.  - Joe
