The structure of our company wil be to have multiple Business Units in CRM and in the future there will be a possibility for some of these Business Units to need to break away and be their own organization.
I've heard some say that it would be ideal to do our customizations "per BU", but I'm not really sure what this means. Right now we do have some customizations to forms that are per BU, but I don't think these types of customizations would be exported/imported per BU. I'm guessing what they were referring to were things like custom solutions with code and workflows, but I would love to hear any thoughts or gotchas around this, as well as any considerations for us based on this possible break away in the future.
