MetadataException in configuring AX - CRM Connector

In AX 2012 R2 CU1 I created a Document service with the AIF wizard on a custom query/table for synchronization with CRM 2011. Service creating completes without errors the new configured port for the service can be activated without errors too.

Attempting to add the service in the dynamics AX 2012 Adapter configuration I get the error below (“An Exception of type MetadataException has occurred while performing the operation”) after clicking the Refresh Services button 

Deactivating the service, the form populates well (but without the service listed)

I Created the service following the step from the blog below

To verify the blog I implemented the “featureRequest” sample and got it listed without errors and use it

Any suggestion what could cause this error, how to resolve it and/or how to further trouble shoot?
