Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook is the same for Online and on-premise?

I have Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook installed and running for my online crm. Now I installed on-premise version.

Should I need another installation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook? or I can use the same and just configure it for the on-premise?

I got error: could not find any organization on the server. The discovery svc works in IE:
