This is somewhat of a repost as my original post did not thoroughly get resolved. Here's the scenario:
1. CRM Online 2011, UR12
2. Windows 8, IE10
3. Set WIF 3.5
4. Set Compatibility View
5. Added site to trusted sites
6. Added site to exclude pop up blocker
7. Unchecked Disable script debugging
8. Outlook client installed
When trying to export a dynamic spreadsheet, given the open to Save or Save As. Select Save and then given the option to Open. I can save it and open directly from Excel but it's not how things used to be. When I open, get the following:
