When migrating from an other CRM, best practice for security roles

Hello,

Before migrating with my ETL tool, as you know, I have to create all the users of the previous CRM, and assign to them a security role.

So, I created a new security role called "standard" with all the rights and after, when we will have decided our security roles, disable the "Standard" security role I created for the migration to replace it with the new one.

Is that a good practice?
